JeoParody uses a PowerPoint Jeopardy template to plug in questions and answers related to health and safety training. It takes otherwise boring meetings and turns them into an engaging competition—all while hitting educational outcomes.

During the game, staff begin a discussion about the topics raised. Not only can it create enthusiasm for the subject, but it also results in people really understanding the "why", which goes a long way to contributing to an unemotional and confident response should the circumstance arise.

Staff enthusiasm for their mandatory annual training has risen. Because of the interaction fostered during the training, staff retain information more easily and fully. We have seen that simulated scenarios and the responses thereto, which staff create as a base for required monthly drills, have improved in realism and increased in complexity.
