Hearts and Hands is the largest event for healthcare assistants in BC. Between the two conferences, we will welcome 450+ attendees, with hundreds more participating in our unique and interactive digital experience.

With a goal to CELEBRATE, EDUCATE, AND INSPIRE, it’s not just a conference—it’s an experience that attendees and partner organizations talk about long after it ends.

Our keynote presenter

Brandi Heather knows what it feels like to lose yourself trying to keep everything together. She spent years as an award-winning college professor, presenting her work around the world, looking successful from the outside while quietly struggling behind closed doors. Eventually, the pressure caught up with her, and she was told she would never work full-time again. That experience changed the direction of her life.

Now Brandi helps people and organizations reconnect with what she calls Playful Intelligence™, our natural drive to play that gets buried under stress and pressure. Her work is rooted in science and shows how play can calm our nervous systems, spark creativity, and help us feel connected again, even during hard times.

Brandi has over 25 years of experience as a professor and entrepreneur. She believes she doesn't help people become someone new. She helps them find what was already there. Come ready to laugh, connect, and remember how to do your best work.
Testimonials
What attendees are saying...
Here are some of the things we've heard from Hearts and Hands participants.
“It was such a great experience for me”
I enjoyed everything, from the beginning until the end. It was such a great experience for me, and to everyone who worked together to make this event wonderful, successful an awesome day.
“The best conference I have ever attended.”
I don’t specialize in conferences, but as a former sales agent, I would say that this is the best conference I have ever attended.
"New information we can take back to work"
The comradery, the information. Team building and all the free goodies. Of course, all the new information we could take back to work to share with others to increase our love and care.
