How does your idea improve workplace health and safety?

Provizio SEM Scanner supports clinicians to identify increased risk of pressure injury on specific anatomical areas of a patients body on admission and 5 days earlier than visual skin assessment regardless of skin tone. It provides an adjunct to existing care pathways in pressure injury prevention such as Visual Skin and Tissue Assessment. It will deliver objective and anatomically-specific pressure injury risk assessment, ensuring a 5-day window of opportunity to deploy a targeted and tailored pressure injury prevention strategy that helps minimize pressure injury incidence and reduce overall cost and time to care.

What has been the impact on workplace health and safety?

The Provizio SEM Scanner will continue to alter the care planning for pressure injury prevention by objectively identifying PI risk assessment, regardless of skin tone. It will also enable timely, anatomically-specific and targeted interventions and digitally enhance the PI care pathway and outcome.
