Ils peuvent contribuer à assurer votre sécurité et celle des autres sur le lieu de travail, à la maison et en public. Ce cours vous aidera à comprendre le fonctionnement des vaccins, répondra à certaines questions courantes et vous donnera les compétences, les outils et les ressources nécessaires pour avoir des conversations bien informées et respectueuses sur la vaccination sur le lieu de travail.

Les sujets incluent :

  • Les différents types d'immunité
  • La protection communautaire (également connue sous le nom d'immunité collective)
  • Gestion des effets secondaires habituels
  • Ingrédients habituels des vaccins et leur processus d'approbation
  • Entretien motivationnel

À la fin du cours, les apprenants pourront :

  • expliquer comment les vaccins protègent le corps d'une maladie;
  • expliquer comment les vaccins sont une méthode très efficace pour réduire la transmission d'une maladie dans le cadre des pratiques de contrôle des infections;
  • identifier les effets secondaires habituels d'un vaccin;
  • décrire les ingrédients courants des vaccins et les fonctions qu'ils remplissent;
  • utilisez des techniques d'écoute réflexive pour établir un environnement sûr et sans jugement afin de parler de l'hésitation à se faire vacciner avec moins de résistance.
