Dr. Karen Bopp has worked with autistic individuals for over 28 years. Recently, at the University of BC Centre for Interdisciplinary Research and Collaboration in Autism (CIRCA) Karen created four pro-d programs for professionals in the fields of medicine; dentistry; employment; and childcare. The purpose of each program is to promote accessibility, acceptance and inclusion and provide learners with practical knowledge and skills to better support and include autistic individuals in all walks of life.

Karen is now serving as the Executive Advisor for Children and Youth with Support Needs for the Office of the Representative for Children and Youth in BC.
