In long-term care it is increasingly apparent that who is on shift is just as important as how many staff are on shift. Quality care is difficult to achieve when we do not routinely engage with one another in a positive, or civil, manner.

Kindness Card Templates

Spread Some Kindness...

Consider using the following kindness card templates to print and distribute around your workplace. They can be used to introduce the idea that kindness is contagious, to let team members know how much their work is appreciated, and/or to wish team members a great day. The cards are designed to be printed in a business card format. You can either print them yourself using Avery Perforated Business Cards or you can order them from a company like Vistaprint (see directions below).

How To Get Custom Cards at Vistaprint

01

Head to www.vistaprint.ca

Choose “Business Cards” from the top menu. Then select “See all business cards” from the list on the far left.

02

Picking options

On the first page you need to select Standard business card. On the next page you will need to click Upload Design in the top right corner. Select Standard when the flyout appears, and then press the Select button in the bottom right.

03

Uploading image

In the next step, you will be navigating to the images for your card design. If you haven’t already downloaded the two JPG files, pause a moment to do so. Many people like to download them right to their desktop so they are easy to find.

Click directly onto the front of your card and Upload Your Design. A pop-up will appear. Choose the first one reading “Upload Logo or Image”.

Assuming your images are saved on your computer, navigate to the location of the JPG for the front and back of your card. and click Open. Repeat these steps after selecting the Back of the card on the right hand side.

Hit the button reading “Next” in the top right and you will be brought to a preview page. Check the box indicating you have reviewed the design and approve it. Then click the “Next” button.

04

Saving design and Adding to cart

You will be given the chance to change the paper type and the corner trim. This is also the page where you choose your quantity. Choose “Next” when you are done. You may then be asked if you would like to purchase related accessories as well. You can skip this by selecting Continue and then select Continue to cart.

05

Finishing Up and Payment

In the next steps Vistaprint will attempt to sell you many related customized items: envelopes, return address stickers, envelope seals, matching notecards, mugs, gift tags, etc. Choose what you want or just scroll waaaay to the bottom and click “next.” Click past any other offers presented to you with the “go to cart” button. Now you will be able to adjust the quantity, apply any promo codes or use Honey Chrome Extention to apply promo codes for you, and check out. That’s it!
