Safety Den—our annual Dragons’ Den-inspired event—is back, and this year, we’re changing things up.

We’re not just going to put your ideas on stage, we’re going to put them up on the big screen.

How it works

Safety Den is a celebration of innovation in healthcare, showcasing ideas from people like you who are passionate about improving workplace health and safety.

If your submission is selected, you’ll be invited to Whistler for a chance to impress the competition’s judges—the safety dragons—and win the top prize of $2,000. That’s double the amount of last year.

What’s new?

If you are selected as a finalist in the healthcare category, we will work with you to produce a video to be played at the event. And don’t worry, we’ll handle the filming and editing—you only need to show off your idea!

After your video, you’ll have to answer to the safety dragons’ questions. Don’t worry, they don’t breathe fire.

It’s easy to participate

• Submit your idea using our online form
• Give us time to review all the submissions
• If you’re one of the three finalists, do a fist pump and high-five your colleagues
• Arrange a time for us to come film
• Answer the dragons’ questions and win the cash prize!

The deadline to submit is April 1.
