Success story: Menno Place

Menno Place rececently designed safety huddles for staff, encouraging positive interactions between themselves and residents.

Menno Place is one of B.C.’s largest campuses of care. Located in Abbotsford, B.C., it dates back to 1953 and provides care for nearly 350 residents while providing housing and services to another 350 in its Independent Housing and Assisted Living Suites. Recently, they have designed safety huddles for staff, encouraging positive interactions between themselves and residents. This program and a few others have increased awareness of health and safety at Menno Place.
