Violence Risk Assessment Policy and Procedure Review

This document has been adapted from the Violence Risk Assessment Standard created by the Fraser Health Authority, Interior Health Authority, Northern Health Authority, Vancouver Coastal Health Authority, Vancouver Island Health Authority, First Nations Health Authority, the Provincial Health Services Authority and WorkSafeBC dated August 24, 2021.

The purpose of this standard is to provide a process of assessing the risk of violence in British Columbia’s long-term care, home care, and community health support sectors that will inform actions to eliminate or minimize the level of risk.
