  • Identify common extreme and unhelpful thinking patterns and their negative impact on emotions and behaviours.
  • Reflect on personal experiences to identify instances of extreme and unhelpful thinking, and apply practical strategies like evidence checking and re-framing to improve mental health.
  • Practice cognitive restructuring to replace extreme and unhelpful thoughts with more balanced alternatives to foster healthier thinking patterns in daily life.
  • Recognize the importance of ongoing practice and self-reflection in maintaining mental well-being.

Stephanie Streicher has been a part of the Canadian Mental Health Association’s BounceBack: Reclaim Your Health program for nine years, progressing from a community coach to her current position as Quality Assurance and Training Coordinator. In this role, she is responsible for supporting the operational aspects of program delivery across Canada, including BounceBack coach training and development. With over a decade of expertise in mental health service provision, spanning a range of healthcare environments and populations, Stephanie has developed a profound dedication to enhancing the accessibility, quality, and impact of mental health resources for Canadians.
