Marikim Poitras is a Registered Nurse and Clinical Consultant for Arjo Canada, with a Master’s degree in Nursing Science specializing in Continuing Education. She has taught nursing students at the bachelor level and brings a strong foundation in clinical education and evidence-based practice. With Arjo, Marikim supports healthcare teams across Eastern Ontario, Quebec, and the Maritime provinces. She specializes in safe resident handling, transfer, and mobility. She has developed a particular expertise in the care of individuals with bariatric needs, focusing on promoting dignity, safety, and quality of life through appropriate equipment and environmental planning.
