Safety Den

Blending education and entertainment, Safety Den is our Dragons’ Den-inspired event showcasing innovative ideas in workplace health and safety. 

Showcasing ideas and innovation in health and safety

The much-anticipated tenth annual Safety Den is taking place on May 25 at the BC Care Providers Association's annual conference in Whistler. 

This Dragon’s Den-inspired show is a highlight for many conference attendees and showcases ideas and innovation that enhance workplace health and safety in healthcare.

This event is brought to you by SafeCare BC with support from Northbridge Insurance.

Blending education and entertainment, the Safety Den features six finalists in two categories, who present their ideas to a panel of Safety Dragons. The winner of the healthcare category will win the top prize of $2,000, while the winner of the Commercial category receives the Safety Innovation of the Year Award.

Submissions to the 2026 Safety Den are now closed. Finalists will be announced soon.
