  • Non-voting Board Representative: The Board may appoint as a non-voting representative an individual from an organization connected to the continuing care sector who has expertise, skills or knowledge that is beneficial to the Board or to the Society (as determined by the Board) by a board resolution approved at a meeting of the Directors. An appointed representative will take office as of the date of the Board Resolution or at a later date specified by the Board. To calculate terms, any appointments made shall end at the close of the next annual general meeting following the appointment date.
  • Not-for-profit employer representative: The position of Not-for-profit employer representative shall be an elected position with candidates limited to persons having a senior leadership role with a not-for-profit Association member organization providing long-term residential care.

If you are interested in standing for the Board or wish to nominate an individual to be a part of the Board, please fill out a nomination form and send it—along with a resume or CV— to board@safecarebc.ca

Deadline for nominations is February 7.
