Call for Nominations: Technical Advisory Committee

May 13, 2024

We are seeking Representatives to fill two vacancies for long-term care

The Technical Advisory Committee provides input, expertise, and knowledge to strengthen the effectiveness of SafeCare BC initiatives, programs, and projects. As a member of the committee, you will help provide input into activities outlined in SafeCare BC’s annual workplan. 

Please send your applications or nominations to board@safecarebc.ca and include a: 

  • Copy of your resume (or CV) highlighting your experience in building health and safety awareness and promoting best practices in the long-term care sector,  
  • One-page Letter of Intent outlining:
    • Why you would like to be a part of the committee. 
    • What you will bring to the committee. 
    • What the key issues you see for the sector regarding health and safety education. 

A background in curricula development, training, and safety management systems will be an asset.
