Ken joins the SafeCare BC team with an 18-year background in health communications, having worked for large and small organizations. Ken has developed numerous health campaigns and led a team nominated for a BC Health Care Award for developing an online organ donor registry, the first in Canada.

Sheila Faumen

Workplace Psychological Health and Safety Coach
Sheila has over 15 years working in both the healthcare and justice sectors. Her experiences have included workplace health and safety, program oversight and development, and research, as well as working directly with service users. Sheila holds an MA in Counselling Psychology and is very passionate about mental health and wellness, especially trauma. She is delighted to bring this passion and her experiences to the role of Psychological Health and Safety Coach with SafeCare BC. Outside of work you can find Sheila enjoying delicious food with friends and family, walking her 3-year-old Labradoodle, or out in her garden.
