She holds a master’s degree in occupational and environmental hygiene from the University of British Columbia and has led initiatives at both provincial and national levels focused on employee well-being and injury prevention. Her experience includes leading a province-wide program standardization effort that achieved Certificate of Recognition status for 300 locations across B.C. and generated substantial cost savings.

Outside of work, Saleema enjoys indoor cycling, walking in nature, reading, baking, and spending time with her family.
