She built a thriving business from the ground up, leading a team of over 100 employees at the helm of Masterpiece Floor Maintenance and The Janitor Room Supply House. After conquering the world of cleaning supplies, she lent her financial expertise to Flora Protein, navigating their journey through acquisition by Gardein Protein.

Never one to rest on her laurels, Cora embraced the freelance life, providing bookkeeping services to various clients before becoming Director of Finance for BC Care Providers Association. Her dedication and skills led her to manage Safecare BC’s accounting, showcasing her ability to juggle multiple responsibilities efficiently.

Though officially retired (briefly!), Cora's passion for finance drew her back to Safecare BC as their part-time Manager of Finance. When she's not crunching numbers, Cora can be found expressing her creativity through writing and music. A singer in two choirs and a mandolin player in both a string orchestra and a bluegrass group, Cora clearly has a love for melody and rhythm.

Her community spirit shines through her involvement with a walking group, which she co-manages, and her volunteer work at the Austria Vancouver Club. And if that weren't enough, Cora also finds time to cultivate her garden and create lasting memories with her grandchildren.
