In long-term care it is increasingly apparent that who is on shift is just as important as how many staff are on shift. Quality care is difficult to achieve when we do not routinely engage with one another in a positive, or civil, manner.

Take a look back at Hearts and Hands 2024

October 16, 2024

We want to thank you for being part of this year’s Hearts and Hands conference. Your participation helped make this a fantastic event.

The two conferences were record breaking and historic. With 315 people registered for the Langley event, it was the largest ever. And for the first time in the event's history, Nanaimo was a host city.

To help commemorate the day, we’ve put together a special video recapping the event, including exclusive behind-the-scenes footage of our team setting up the event for you and interviews that will leave you feeling inspired about this event.

Your photo booth pictures are now available on the Hearts and Hands website. Check them out! Did you take any photos during the event? Post them on social media and share them using the hashtag #HH2024

A culture of appreciation

Hearts and Hands fosters a culture of appreciation. This was evident in the "thank you" video shared at the event. Want to be reminded of how much you're appreciated for the work you do? Check out the video.

Our Sponsor Partners

Without the generous support of our partners, Hearts and Hands wouldn't be possible. They make it possible for us to keep our registration fee low. They make it possible for us to bring in fabulous and inspiring keynote presenters. They make it possible to host this event in a comfortable venue with a delicious breakfast and lunch.

We thank them for recognizing the value and impact this event has on you and the community of healthcare assistants. When you can, support those organizations that support Hearts and Hands.
