In long-term care it is increasingly apparent that who is on shift is just as important as how many staff are on shift. Quality care is difficult to achieve when we do not routinely engage with one another in a positive, or civil, manner.

Register

April 3, 2024 topic of discussion: The importance of personal boundaries

This meeting will connect managers and leaders in care organizations across British Columbia.

These monthly leadership meetings respond to the many challenges those care organizations voiced. Stretched to their limits with staff shortages, fatigue, and meeting the demands of their work are a few of these challenges. Balancing the job’s demands and maintaining wellness for self and the team has been tricky.

The Mobile Response Team’s focus is on supporting overall well-being through enhancing internal capacity and resiliency, empowering workers to help themselves and each other through the continued development of skills, knowledge, and team practices.

Discuss challenges and successes you are experiencing while offering you the opportunity to get to know other leaders from around the province—not only to realize you are not alone but also to be able to connect with them from time to time. Take this opportunity to continue to develop your support network!

These virtual sessions are hosted on Zoom.
