Before you speak: Communicate with intention

Communication skills can be refined and advanced throughout your life. It all begins with bringing awareness to your patterns and having tools to adjust them.

Have you ever had a moment of “oh no, I wish I hadn't said that? Or I wish I’d said that differently?”

We all have. These moments of imperfect communication are part of being human. And when you work in a sector as high-pressure and high-stakes as healthcare, these moments may happen more often than you’d like.

Is it possible to have fewer moments like this? Can you break unwanted communication patterns?

Yes, without question.

You can evolve how you communicate at any point in your career. Communication skills can be refined and advanced throughout your life. It all begins with bringing awareness to your patterns and having tools to adjust them.

More great news: alongside your communication challenges, you have a unique set of communication strengths. Everyone does. And when you identify yours, you can apply them to support your work and every aspect of your life.

In this webinar, you will:

  • Learn to recognize a communication pattern you'd like to change
  • Learn to identify and leverage a personal communication strength
  • Walk away with a concrete technique for the next time a challenging moment arises

Communication Coach
Jacqueline Voci has spent more than 20 years helping people find their voice, and use it well.  She began her career in media relations, coaching executives through high-stakes interviews and landing media coverage across North America. She later co-founded one of Canada's first social media agencies. These days, she delivers workshops and training on interpersonal communication, public speaking, and hosting meetings — with a simple but powerful conviction that communication is a skill anyone can consciously advance, at any stage of their career.  A long-time student and teacher of meditation, Jacqueline brings the same principles of awareness and presence to her communications work — helping people notice their patterns, build on their strengths, and show up as the communicators they want to be.
