Support Services Appreciation Day - Bevan Village

September 15, 2024

At Trillium-Bevan Village Long-Term Care and Assisted living Facility, the support services team exemplifies a collaborative spirit that profoundly impacts the residents' lives. The staff, including those in laundry, housekeeping, and dietary services, embodies the "Resident First" philosophy. For instance, laundry staff not only deliver clean clothes but also respond to residents' needs by providing warm blankets when someone feels cold. Their smiles and small conversations during routine tasks add a personal touch that is both precious and meaningful.

The housekeeping team contributes significantly by ensuring residents' safety and maintaining open communication. Their presence on the floor helps create a secure and comforting environment and make sure there homes are well clean and organized . In the dietary department, flexibility is key; cooks are always ready to accommodate diet plan modifications and offer alternative meal options if a resident dislikes a particular dish. One standout member, Sukhi and Muoi long service employees working in Bevan village , has become renowned among residents and their families for her baking skills, often providing freshly baked chocolate chip cookies that bring joy and a touch of home.

Overall, the support services team's dedication turns daily routines into a series of thoughtful, personalized interactions that greatly enhance the residents' quality of life. Their collaborative approach underscores the significant impact that compassionate care and attention to individual needs can have in a long-term care setting.
