Before her recent work as Board and Trust Secretariat for employers of the BC waterfront industry, Lysa was involved in administration and IT work in the Philippines. She helped roll out IT projects for companies before transitioning to administration work.

Before her recent work as Board and Trust Secretariat for employers of the BC waterfront industry, Lysa was involved in administration and IT work in the Philippines. She helped roll out IT projects for companies before transitioning to administration work.

She completed her Computer Science degree in the Philippines, and her Business Administration studies at Langara College in Vancouver. To help with her roles as a family and volunteer caregiver, she took a Philippine certification in Caregiving in 2018.

Lysa is very excited and looking forward to supporting the work and mandate of SafeCare BC.
