
As a U-First!® facilitator with the Alzheimer Society of BC and Yukon, Jody is passionate about improving the lives of people impacted by dementia. With more than 25 years of lived experience as a care partner, she brings valuable insight, inspires others and helps create positive experiences along the dementia journey.
Jody holds an Associate’s degree in Psychotherapy and Counselling and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Human Services. She is currently completing her Master of Arts in Leadership (Health Care) at Trinity Western University, further strengthening her commitment to person-centred care, education and leadership in the health-care sector.
Outside of work and study, Jody volunteers as a youth mentor with the Huntington Society of Canada and enjoys spending quality time with her family.
