This session will cover the features and assessment criteria of common passive loop slings, with practical tips on sizing, fitting and clinical use. It will include a focus on hygiene slings and how to manage toileting with full-support passive slings. Participants will leave with a stronger understanding of sling selection and prescription to meet individual care needs better.

Learning objectives:

  • Understand key assessment criteria for hygiene slings
  • Learn how to manage toileting with passive full-support slings
  • Gain practical tips for sizing, fitting and applying overhead and passive slings
