Joti Sandhu

Learning and Development Coordinator , Education
SafeCare BC
Listening is central to how Joti Sandhu approaches learning and community engagement. She believes the most meaningful programs begin with understanding the people they are designed for and creating space for their needs, experiences and voices.

Before joining SafeCare BC, Joti spent seven years with the Alzheimer Society of B.C. Her work in the non-profit sector has included developing and leading culturally responsive initiatives for South Asian communities. She has led learning sessions in English and Punjabi, built community partnerships and shared information through media interviews.

Across these experiences, Joti has focused on helping people learn, connect and feel empowered. She brings a thoughtful, collaborative approach to her work and is committed to making learning accessible, relevant and inclusive.

Joti’s connection to SafeCare BC began before she joined the team, when she attended a Safety Den event. She looks forward to learning alongside her colleagues and supporting health care teams across British Columbia.
