Adapting leadership styles for team success

In fast-paced healthcare settings, a one-size-fits-all approach to leadership is fraught with risk. Leaders who rely on a single approach may struggle with low team morale, communication breakdowns, and burnout. This webinar explores Daniel Goleman’s six leadership styles and explores how we can develop alternative leadership styles and how to apply them strategically to navigate different team dynamics, crises, and organizational changes. Whether you’re managing frontline staff or leading system-level initiatives, you’ll gain:

  • New leadership tools to get the most out of your teams
  • New insight into your strengths as a leader, and opportunities for leadership growth
  • A new lens to evaluate how your performance might vary across different teams
  • A framework for adapting your leadership style to the situation at hand

Join us to move beyond default leadership habits and become a more effective, emotionally intelligent leader in today’s complex healthcare environment.

By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Describe Goleman’s six leadership styles and select the most appropriate style for varying healthcare team scenarios.
  • Apply adaptive leadership strategies to build trust, psychological safety, and resilience in their teams.
  • Reflect with greater self-awareness and empathy on day-to-day leadership interactions.

This session will provide leaders and aspiring leaders with practical strategies to flex their leadership approach and enhance psychological safety and productivity across diverse teams.
