What if the most common signs of heart disease in women are the ones we’re most likely to miss?
In recognition of Heart Health Month, this webinar explores how heart disease presents differently in women and why these differences are often overlooked. Dr. Sedlak will draw on real-world cases to highlight ongoing gaps in the diagnosis and treatment of women’s heart disease.
With a focus relevant to those working in healthcare and care-based sectors, the session will unpack key sex and gender differences in symptoms, risk factors, and causes of heart disease. Dr. Sedlak will also share practical, evidence-based guidance on what women can do to reduce their risk and recognize early warning signs, supporting both personal well-being and the health of those in our care.
