Myrna Norman

Myrna Norman

Myrna Norman’s life changed significantly when she was diagnosed with frontal temporal dementia in 2009. But she hasn’t let that stop her from being a tireless advocate for those living with dementia. She is inspired to educate others on how to help people with dementia improve their quality of life and live well with dementia.

Being active with several groups is enriching for Myrna and is a source of energy for her. Such groups include Engagement of Persons Living with Dementia, Dementia Friendly Task Force, and the Purple Angel Memory Café. Myrna believes there is much to do and much to learn and share. Isn’t that what life is all about?
