Khalida has over six years of experience with mental health, health care and neuropsychotherapy. She is a strong advocate and has worked with start-ups, institutions, health authorities, and non-profit organizations to create robust programs and resources to support the emotional and mental well-being of their staff, employers, and clients.

Khalida has over six years of experience with mental health, health care and neuropsychotherapy. She is a strong advocate and has worked with start-ups, institutions, health authorities, and non-profit organizations to create robust programs and resources to support the emotional and mental well-being of their staff, employers, and clients. Khalida strives to ensure inclusivity, equity, and accessibility to all services she supports and provides. She is actively engaged with clinical research for mental health to ensure evidence-based practice and protocols. As SafeCare BC’s Psychological Workplace Health & Safety Coach, she provides mental health resources, outreach, educational in-services for frontline workers and management, psychological health and safety risk assessments, recommendations to improve wellness in the workplace and consultations to meet the unique needs of various organizations.

Khalida has obtained a Master’s in Social Work with Honors from the University of British Columbia, her Bachelor’s in Arts Criminal Justice with Honors, and an Emergency Medical Responder certificate from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.

Khalida enjoys dirt biking, snowboarding, camping, swimming, pottery, and weightlifting when not working. She welcomes trying new things and adventuring outdoors.
