Kate Rudelier (she/her) was born and raised in Vancouver and has lived there for most of her life. She completed her undergraduate degree at Concordia University and Master’s degree at the University of Victoria. She has spent her 20 plus years’ career in the public sector, working in non-profit, government and healthcare, advocating for systems’ change and client care. Kate brings a wealth of experience, particularly in the following areas: mental health and substance use, women’s health, child and youth care, disability awareness and support and mental and physical wellness. Her therapeutic style is client-centred, strength-based and trauma-informed, weaving aspects of many different types of therapy into her practice. Education and teaching is also part of her work, training and leading various audiences in creative collaborative learning.  In April 2025 Kate opened her own counselling practice, KCR Counselling, and sees clients virtually and in-person in East Vancouver. A true believer in meeting people where they are at, Kate values human connection and strives to create a safe and supportive space.
