Certified independent trainer and clinical consultant
Jennifer Roach is a Positive Approach to Dementia Care certified independent trainer and a clinical consultant with Arjo. Using Teepa Snow’s trademarked method to assess, connect, and get started on an action in a positive and person-centred way, Jennifer will show us how to use the skills and abilities the person living with dementia has left to help them with their activities of daily living.

Jennifer’s expertise in Safe Patient Handling has helped Arjo customers improve patient outcomes and reduce the risk of injuries to patients and caregivers. She has also provided education and training in hygiene and disinfection, helping prevent infection spread in healthcare settings.

Since 2019, she has been teaching Teepa Snow’s trademarked Positive Physical Approach and Hand under Hand support skills to care partners of people with dementia. Her knowledge and experience in dementia care have been invaluable to Arjo’s customers, helping improve the quality of life for people with dementia and their caregivers.

Jennifer’s vast experience and knowledge make her an indispensable asset to Arjo and its customers. She is passionate about improving patient outcomes and providing the best care to those in need.
