After completing her graduate diploma in Instructional Design, Jaimie finished her Masters of Education in 2023. Her background includes 18 years of experience in instruction, adult education, curricula development, and instructional design. Jaimie has wanted to be in education ever since she can remember, and her instructional philosophy is to create meaningful learning experiences that are inclusive and fun for everyone.

She started working in occupational health and safety in the year 2000 and started teaching occupational health and safety classes in 2005. She worked as a Level 3 Occupational First Aid Attendant and volunteered for many years as a Medical First Responder.

Originally from Edmonton, Alberta, she spent most of her years in the beautiful Okanagan Valley (Vernon and Kelowna, BC) before moving to Vancouver in 2010, where you will find her enjoying the latest movies (or old favourites), a new recipe, anything creative, or time with friends and family.
