RN, Occupational Health Nurse , First Nations Health Authority (FNHA)
Ashley Hubbard is a Registered Nurse, Occupational Health Nurse with the First Nations Health Authority (FNHA), and Master of Science in Nursing student in Indigenous Wellness at the University of British Columbia Okanagan. Ashley is a proud member of Kwanlin Dün First Nation (Wolf Clan) with German settler ancestry and currently lives and works on Syilx territory in British Columbia. 

Ashley’s work focuses on Indigenous wellness, psychological health and safety, culturally safer healthcare environments, and relationship-based approaches to care. Her research explores culturally safe end-of-life care for Indigenous Peoples using relational and community-driven approaches. Drawing from both professional and lived experience, Ashley is passionate about creating healthcare environments where residents, families, communities, and healthcare teams feel safer, more respected, and more connected.
