Ania Landy is a PhD student at the University of British Columbia, studying in the Interdisciplinary Studies program, and has over ten years experience working on community projects focused on aging, dementia, and improving care for older adults. Ania also teaches in the Therapeutic Recreation program at Douglas College.
Her research focus is how diverse older people can have a stronger voice in decisions about their care and the services they use. She works closely with community members, care staff, and other researchers to find better ways to involve people in shaping care systems. Ania is passionate about improving the quality of life for older people and making sure their experiences and perspectives are heard and valued.
