March 6th topic: Talking about the importance of collective care

Join these monthly sessions to connect with managers and leaders across British Columbia in long-term and continuing care.

The monthly leadership meetings respond to the many challenges those working in long-term care organizations voice. Stretched to their limits with staff shortages, fatigue, and meeting the demands of their work are a few of these challenges. Balancing the job’s demands and maintaining personal and team wellness has been tricky.

The Mobile Response Team’s focus is to support overall well-being through enhancing internal capacity and resiliency, supporting the empowerment of workers to help themselves and each other through the continued development of skills, knowledge, and team practices.

Discuss challenges and successes you are experiencing while offering you the opportunity to get to know other leaders from around the province—not only to realize you are not alone but also to be able to connect with them from time to time. Take this opportunity to continue to develop your support network!
