Lise Gillies

Indigenous Cultural Safety Facilitator/Consultant
Len Pierre Consulting
Lise Gillies is a Cree/Métis consultant, educator, and visual artist who lives as an uninvited guest on the unceded territory of the Quw’utsun’ Peoples on Vancouver Island. She specializes in Indigenous Cultural Safety, trauma and equity-informed practice, psychological safety, and organizational change and sustainability, supporting healthcare, education, and community organizations to build more inclusive, culturally safer systems. Lise is currently completing a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies at Royal Roads University where her research explores Indigenous-specific psychosocial hazards and the structural conditions that shape reconciliation work. She believes that no one person, system, or structure can hold all the knowledge, and that by widening our circle, we strengthen our collective work.
