Earlier in her career, Cora built and led Masterpiece Floor Maintenance and The Janitor Room Supply House, managing a team of more than 100 employees. She later worked with Flora Protein during its acquisition by Gardein Protein and provided bookkeeping services to a range of clients. As director of finance for BC Care Providers Association, her responsibilities also included managing SafeCare BC’s accounting. After a brief retirement, she returned to SafeCare BC in her current part-time role.

Outside of work, Cora writes, sings in two choirs and plays mandolin in both a string orchestra and a bluegrass group. She also enjoys gardening, volunteering and spending time with her grandchildren.
