Beata Chami

Organizational Psychologist & Executive Coach

Beata Chami

Organizational Psychologist & Executive Coach
Beata Chami is an organizational psychologist, executive coach, mediator, and researcher who helps organizations create healthier, psychologically safer workplaces where workers and teams can thrive.

Beata has worked with Fraser Health Authority and Doctors of BC on psychological health and safety, leadership development, and health systems dynamics. At UBC’s Faculty of Medicine, she designed and implemented the first physician well-being program in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology. Her master’s research examined how workplace conditions influence decisions to work while unwell.

Today, Beata helps healthcare leaders and teams navigate difficult conversations, address incivility, and respond to the pressures of demanding work. Drawing on research, facilitation, mediation, and coaching, she offers practical strategies that strengthen working relationships and create healthier conditions for everyone who supports the delivery of care.
