Session Description

Using Teepa Snow’s trademarked method to assess, connect, and initiate an action in a positive and person-centred way, Jennifer will show you how to use the skills and abilities the person living with dementia has left to help them with their activities of daily living. 

Jennifer will show you: 

  • Five ways people perceive data and how that changes through dementia 
  • How to make positive personal connections to begin each interaction 
  • Positive action starters 

Session Speakers

Jennifer Roach

Jennifer is an experienced consultant with over 15 years of experience providing education and assessment services for Arjo customers in Safe Patient Handling, Hygiene, Pressure Injury Prevention, Dementia knowledge and care skills, and Disinfection. She joined Arjo in 2008 and has been a valuable team member ever since.
