Moments that matter: A practical approach to understanding dementia
Langley 2026

October 21 @ 10:00am

Healthcare assistants are at the heart of dementia care – building relationships, noticing changes and supporting people through complex and sometimes challenging moments. Marina and Jody will lead you through an interactive session that builds on the strengths you already bring to your work every day, offering a chance to explore practical, person-centred approaches to understanding and responding to behaviours. Through real-life scenarios, interactive activities, and a few “aha!” moments, you’ll step into the world of a person living with dementia and explore small shifts that can make everyday interactions more positive and meaningful, for both you and the people you support.
