The Working Mind for Employees

In today’s fast-paced, high-pressure work environment, mental wellness is more important than ever—especially in caregiving roles. That’s why the Mental Health Commission of Canada created a specialized version of The Working Mind, tailored specifically for healthcare workers like you. 

Through real-life stories, scenario-based learning, interactive tools, and practical strategies, this course helps you take control of your mental health and contributes to a more supportive, stigma-free workplace. 

Course topics: 

  • Mental health stigma: Explore what mental health really means and learn how stigma affects people’s ability to seek help and thrive. 
  • Mental health continuum tool: Recognize changes in mental health and learn how to start supportive conversations with coworkers or team members. 
  • Stress and resilience: Discover how stress impacts mental health. Build resilience using the Big 4 Coping Strategies—practical, science-based techniques you can use every day.
