WorkSafeBC
Denise Subotin is a Manager in Prevention Programs and Services at WorkSafeBC. She works with industry associations, labour organizations, health and safety associations, and workers and employers in the Education, Health Care, and Social Services sectors to support and advance the prevention of workplace injuries and illness through partnerships, consultation, and education. Prior to joining WorkSafeBC in 2017, Denise worked in health and safety in B.C.’s health care sector for nearly 10 years. Denise holds a M.Sc. of Occupational and Environmental Hygiene from the University of British Columbia and is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP).
