Provincial Violence Prevention Curriculum Training

“I have attended a lot of learning workshops, and training, and I can say that this was one of the most fulfilling. It was interactive, professional and fun. I left feeling a little sad it was over, but excited to pursue this endeavour, as a violence prevention trainer.” – Jacob Sears, Saint Elizabeth

Jacob was one of 12 participants who recently completed the four-day Provincial Violence Prevention Curriculum Peer Coach (Train-the-Trainer) program.

We are currently recruiting for a second session in Victoria, from
June 11-15. Seats are limited, so APPLY TODAY.

What you can expect from this four-day course

Day 1: Recognizing risks and behaviours, responding to the risk, reporting and communication

Day 2: Introduction to adult learning and facilitation, giving feedback to adult learners, classroom management

Day 3/4: Participant teaching sessions

Following the four-day session, SafeCare BC staff will provide support and mentorship, as participants prepare for their first training session in their own organization.
